The NACON Revolution 5 Pro controller’s latest software update includes a new gaming option, Shooter Pro Mode

The NACON Revolution 5 Pro controller, which released last November, has received a customization software update which brings with it a new gaming option: Shooter Pro Mode. This new mode, once enabled, completely removes the stick deadzone to improve responsiveness, precision, and performance for games in the FPS genre.  You can check out a video above showcasing this new feature and read below for more details:

Lesquin (France), 17 June 2024 – The Revolution 5 Pro controller, available since November, has been enthusiastically received by players all over the world. With thousands of units already sold thanks to its unique design and features that give players a competitive advantage, it has become the most successful NACON accessory launched to date.

In line with its goal of continually improving the Revolution 5 Pro and to meet the needs of FPS players, NACON has updated the controller’s customization software with a new gaming option: Shooter Pro Mode. Once enabled, this new feature completely removes the stick deadzone, improving player responsiveness, precision, and performance for games in the FPS genre. This adds to the controller’s existing features, which give users a vital edge in games:

• Sensitivity + mode: for faster reaction times in a variety of in-game situations by increasing the stick amplitude
• Magnetic Hall effect on the sticks: for maximum controller durability and highly reduced risk of drift
• Ultra-fast wireless connectivity + wired mode: includes a 2.4 GHz USB dongle, prevents lag, and provides PS5®/PS4®/PC* compatibility

Many players have already embraced the new feature, including French streamer Wisethug, a keyboard-and-mouse gamer who has set himself the challenge of playing Apex Legends using just the Revolution 5 Pro throughout April.

How to update your controller to the most recent version:
1. Set the wireless/wired button on the controller to wired mode
2. Set the platform selection button to PS5 or PS4
3. Select A for Advanced on the back of the controller
4. Connect the controller to your PC via the included USB-C cable
5. Launch the Revolution 5 Pro app and select “Update” to install the latest version.

The Revolution 5 Pro is available in shops and on NACON Gaming for the price of €229.90.
