The king has spoken - Guidebook Edition announced for Metaphor: ReFantazio

Over the weekend, ATLUS hosted a "One-Year Anniversary Livestream" to celebrate Metaphor: ReFantazio.

In case you missed it, the broadcast can be found on the ATLUS West YouTube channel and Steam. 

The livestream includes a look back at the past year with special remarks from Katsura Hashino (Game Director) and Shigenori Soejima (Character Designer), fans of the game, and the voice actors, and to highlight the occasion a signed commemorative illustration sketched by Soejima-san was created and is currently available via a special giveaway.

During the livestream, the Metaphor: ReFantazio Guidebook Edition (digital only) was also announced for Xbox Series X|S, Windows, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and Steam and is scheduled for an Early 2026 release. 

This special edition includes the Digital Base Game, an English Essential Digital Strategy Guide, a Digital Artbook, an immersive Digital Soundtrack, and two DLC costume sets: the Shujin Academy School Uniform Set and the Jouin High School Uniform Set, each complete with unique battle BGM and jingles to personalize your gameplay. The Essential Digital Strategy Guide is a 55-page guidebook excerpt, carefully curated and re-edited by Future Press from their printed 592-page complete official game guide.
