The Finals receives new limited-time game mode

The Finals has received a new update, adding a sporty new 5v5 game mode, featuring a new map, and offering up free skins for participants. For more information, read the below:

STOCKHOLM – July 24, 2025 — Today, Embark Studios launched Super Cashball — a new limited-time mode for the team-based, free-to-play shooter, THE FINALS. The sportiest game mode yet, Super Cashball releases in Update 7.6 and introduces an exclusive custom map, new free skins and rewards, features and more.

Team up and throw down. Sponsored by VAIIYA, Super Cashball challenges each team to protect on their side of the arena, while a ball spawns in the middle for kickoff. The objective? Contestants must outplay your opponents and score a goal while defending your own. Matches last up to ten minutes or until one team reaches the score limit. At the five-minute mark, halftime kicks in—destruction is reset, and the field is cleared, giving both teams a fresh shot at victory. Whether players are going for glory, strategy or sheer chaos, Cashball brings the heat.

Contestants will also be able to unlock rewards every day by spinning the Super Cashball Wheel for free skins. Using entry tickets earned by completing daily in-game contracts, players can collect tickets and try their luck at scoring some epic rewards.

Players can also look forward to these new features in Super Cashball:

- New Custom Map: This new mode introduces Ca$hball Stadium, a new arena with an open playspace where players can break down walls and other destructible elements to create their own pathways. With shorter respawn time, players can expect this map to push the limits of fast-paced gameplay.

- Voice Customization: Catchphrase packs remain exclusive to their persona’s face, maintaining their unique identity, however, generic voice packs can now be paired with any face. Additionally, persona-specific voices can be layered with other voice effects, allowing for more customization and creative combinations.

- Team Colors on Healing Items: Healing gadgets have been updated to reflect team colors, helping players easily distinguish between friendly and enemy items.

- New DLC Bundle: The update also features a new Lotus Reaper Set, which includes one legendary outfit, one epic emote, one legendary weapon skin, one rare charm and two 400 MultiBucks, available for purchase.
