From the team that brought you a tragic tale of the last family of foxes avoiding extinction and the devastation that comes from not preserving our eco-systems, Herobeat studios is maintaining their message, but switching to the roguelite genre for their new game.

Rewilders is an open-world action roguelite with creature collection and metroidvania-like progression that tells an emotionally impactful story about friendship, family, responsibility, and restoration.
Explore corrupted biomes and face twisted creatures born from a failed society. Each run drops you into a dynamic open world filled with hostile enemies. Use metroidvania-inspired traversal abilities like a glider, grappling hook, or wall-running to reach and explore new biomes.
Restore ecosystems through action: rewild areas, reactivate Springs, and bring life back one biome at a time. As the world heals, its original inhabitants return—the Hântu, reawakened native creatures once driven to extinction. They join your fight, expand your abilities, and can be fed and leveled up to build your own team and combat style, adapting your strategy on every run.
In your skyship base, grow plants from seeds and resources gathered during exploration to unlock permanent buffs, evolve your companions, and prepare for the next descent.

Rewilders isn't just your average roguelite however, it promises a range of features inclusing base building and branching story paths!

Rewilders: The Lost Spring will feature:

Creature collecting — collect Hântu, native creatures with active abilities, status effects, and passive bonuses.
Fast-paced third-person combat combining melee, ranged, and Hântu skills.
Roguelite elements with randomized rewards, enemies, and starting points plus a forgiving death and respawn systems.
Interconnected world with metroidvania-style progression using gliders, wall runs, grapples and more.
Base-building system: grow plants and fruits to level up your Hântu and unlock permanent buffs.
Narrative progression: choose between Memory or Hatred to shape your build and gameplay path.

We didn't get an announcement for a release window, but with striking visuals and another heart-felt message, this will be one to watch out for! It's also nice to see a small studio continue their self-publishing journey.
