Take the wrench with you, Iconoclasts announced for Nintendo Switch

Recently, Joakim “Konjak” Sandberg announced on his Twitter that his metroidvania platformer Iconoclasts will be making its way to Nintendo Switch.

In Iconoclasts, players play as Robin, a mechanic living in a world under heavy control by the authority, One Concern, where mechanics need special licenses to work and handle Ivory. The game has a heavy emphasis on boss battles and puzzle solving with plenty of collectibles to upgrade Robin’s tool set.

In addition to a Switch port, Sandberg announced that all versions of the game will receive an easier mode for people that want to experience the story and a “Boss Rush” mode.

Iconoclast’s Nintendo Switch port does not yet have a release date, but it is expected to be released later this year. For more information on Iconoclasts, visit the Steam page. The Switch version of the game will be playable at EGX 2018, which runs from September 20th to 23rd in the UK.
