Recently, Joakim “Konjak” Sandberg announced on his Twitter that his metroidvania platformer Iconoclasts will be making its way to Nintendo Switch.
In Iconoclasts, players play as Robin, a mechanic living in a world under heavy control by the authority, One Concern, where mechanics need special licenses to work and handle Ivory. The game has a heavy emphasis on boss battles and puzzle solving with plenty of collectibles to upgrade Robin’s tool set.
In addition to a Switch port, Sandberg announced that all versions of the game will receive an easier mode for people that want to experience the story and a “Boss Rush” mode.
Gasp, #Iconoclasts is coming to #Switch! I look forward to new people experiencing my game and thanks for support if you did already ?
I’ll be adding to all changing difficulty as you load game, a difficulty that lets you get past harder challenges without dying and Boss Rush! pic.twitter.com/4yXbmwy7c3
