Suzerain marks 4th anniversary with re-launch on mobile with expansion

Suzerain is one of those games that sticks with you, and it did with me back when I reviewed it. The recent Kingdom of Rizia expansion was quite good, and now mobile players will finally get the opportunity to try it. With the fourth anniversary arriving, the mobile version of Suzerain will relaunch, bringing with it the expansion and new monetization. Check out the details below!

Berlin, Germany, December 4, 2024 – Torpor Games is excited to announce a mobile re-launch of the Suzerain mobile app, that brings the Kingdom of Rizia to mobile, along with an improved monetization system, available on DECEMBER 11. 

Originally launched on mobile in December 2022, the Suzerain app offers an enriched experience, including all 2023 and 2024 story content. This update ensures players on mobile have access to the full Suzerain Universe, unifying content across platforms.

Now containing two immersive narrative-driven stories, Republic of Sordland and Kingdom of Rizia, players can dive into the complex world of political leadership, where every decision shapes the future of nations. 

The Stories in the Suzerain Universe:

• Republic of Sordland: Step into the shoes of President Anton Rayne and lead the fictional nation of Sordland through the turbulent waters of your first term. Every decision counts in a world filled with corruption, political intrigue, economic challenges, and international tensions. Will you reform Sordland or succumb to the traps of the past?
• Kingdom of Rizia: Take on the role of King Romus Toras as you guide the Golden Kingdom of Rizia towards its rightful place in history. Reclaim lost territories, negotiate with noble houses, and manage the delicate balance of diplomacy and war. Will you lead your kingdom to glory?

The re-launch introduces a flexible freemium model, alongside premium and subscription options, offering different ways for players to experience Suzerain: 

Mobile Monetization Model:

• Freemium: Players can enjoy the Republic of Sordland and the Kingdom of Rizia for free by watching ads and earning XP to receive “Story Point” rewards. Story Points are a benefit for freemium players, allowing them to unlock more content without needing to watch ads.
• Premium Ownership: Players can purchase individual story packs (Sordland and Rizia). This removes ads when playing through the story and unlocks additional perks like free story points.
• Subscription System: Enjoy all Suzerain content ad-free with flexible subscription plans ranging from 1-day to 1-month passes. Subscribers gain timed access to the Republic of Sordland and Kingdom of Rizia story packs.
• Lifetime Pass: For dedicated fans, the Lifetime Pass offers full access to all current and future content in the Suzerain Universe, ad-free and forever. This includes any future DLC and additional story packs, providing the ultimate premium experience.

New Features: Political Influence Levels and Story Points

The Suzerain re-launch introduces the Political Influence Levels and Story Points, for freemium players to unlock content faster. The Political Influence Levels is a system where you can earn experience to grant higher Story Point rewards, as players level up. Players earn XP by completing daily rewards and unlocking achievements.

Additionally, the re-launch introduces a mobile account system, that ties players’ accounts to store currency, achievements, and mobile-related player progression including save game upload and cloud sync.
