SUNLU celebrates 12 years with new AMS, contests

SUNLU has a little surprise to kick off the week. Celebrating 12 years in the 3D printing industry, they have launched preorders for a AMS Heater to their lineup! This newest product will allow BambuLab users to dry filaments while they're printing, keeping the filament at the right dryness to prevent any sort of stringing or similar issues. I've got one in the lab and I can confirm that they are remarkably simple to install, and a solid upgrade over the one BambooLabs even offers, with a 2 minute installation, and the ability to reach a steady 70°C in just 20 minutes! Best of all, it has full monitoring and display of the humidity of the AMS in realtime, automatically activating and deactivating the humidification systems automatically to ensure a quality print every time. If you act quick, you'll be able to get nab one of the first ones off the line in October when it starts to ship.

 The PTC heating element is an added secondary safety switch and along the fan heating, it is continually monitored by a software-based temperature control, removing the possibility of deforming or damaging the filaments. During activity, the AMS heater will keep a constant temperature, but in case of abnormal or uneven changes, the machine will sound an alarm. With its sleek and compact design, the safety measures add to the AMS Heater’s many perks, turning it into an invaluable companion for all hobbyists and professionals who own a BambuLab AMS.

The AMS Heater’s pre-sale starts on the 10th of July and will continue until August 15th at the starting price of €99,99.
