After being released on PC next month, Road to Guandong will set a course for Xbox One later this year. It will be a narrative-driven management game where players will have to take care of their vehicle as navigate narrative puzzles as they meet several characters on the way to save their restaurant.
Drive across China in the beloved but weathered family car, ‘Sandy’. Take care of your tyres, fuel consumption and engine condition as you navigate the beautiful province of Guangdong. An epic journey in such an old car isn’t going to be easy – be prepared to take a look under the hood. Add oil, manage petrol, maintain the engine and build a stock of useful parts to avoid calling out the mechanic.
Throughout the game, you’ll play as 23-year-old art graduate Sunny as she drives across China with her 68-year-old aunt Guu Ma after Sunny suddenly inherits her family’s restaurant. The game will also feature narrative puzzles and moral choices.
Road to Guandong will be released into Steam Early Access on May 16th, 2019. The Xbox One version of the game will be released later this year. For more information, visit the official website.
