It's an exciting time if you're a classic SEGA fan – today we got the announcement of the return of some familiar little monkey faces – the Super Monkey Ball team! Releasing as a free update for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds (our review here - we loved it!), players can now unleash the mischievous little monkeys on the race course.
The free Super Monkey Ball Content Drop includes the following:
- AiAi as a playable character
- AiAi’s vehicle, the Banana Cruiser
- Four new Super Monkey Ball themed songs added to the Jukebox:
- “Race”
- “Menu Theme”
- “Jingle from Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble”
- “Banana Farm”
- Special emotes and sounds
If you own either the Standard (physical or digital) or Digital Deluxe version of the game, you'll get the Super Monkey Ball Content Drop on your next game launch!
Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is available on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC, and we gave it a 95% It's that good, but honestly...the addition of monkeys might just make it perfect!
