As somebody who owns a Samsung OLED, it's great to see it continue to get solid support. Today the team announced that they're teaming up with NVIDIA to integrate NVIDIA G-SYNC directly into their panels, along with a whole host of resulting gaming-focused features that is sure to raise an eyebrow. There are plenty of "gamer-focused" TVs that are just marketing hype, but this new 2025 OLED TV line up is looking pretty sweet. Let's get under the hood:

With NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility, Samsung 2025 OLED TVs synchronize the TV’s refresh rate with the GPU’s frame rate, reducing screen tearing and stuttering for a seamless and immersive gaming experience.[1] Paired with Motion Xcelerator[2] technology, which supports refresh rates up to 165Hz, gamers can enjoy exceptionally fluid visuals and sharp clarity during fast-paced action scenes.

“With the addition of NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility and our most advanced gaming features yet, Samsung 2025 OLED TVs deliver elite-level performance for even the most competitive players,” said Kevin Lee, Executive Vice President of the Visual Display Customer Experience Team at Samsung Electronics. “By building on our leadership in display innovation and integrating real-time AI enhancements, we’re redefining what gamers can expect from a TV—on and off the battlefield.”

Motion Xcelerator may sound like (and is spelled like) a marketing buzzword bingo entry, but  combined with its Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) makes for an absolutely gorgeous TV that works well for consoles and PC, as well as other devices like GeForce Now, Amazon Luna, and more. I routinely use mine as a gorgeous PC monitor in my front room.

If you don't roll with team green, rest easy – this new Samsung OLED TV also supports AMD Freesync Premium, providing features like flicker-free 165 Hz refresh rates, Low framerate compensation (LFC), and similar features as you'll find on G-SYNC. In addition, the 2025 OLED TV will also support AI Auto Game Mode courtesy of the NQ4 AI Gen3 Processor (handy as it analyzes the scene and can (if you wish) switch to the correct settings to provide a gorgeous output, just in case you aren't into that sort of tuning. It also has OLED Glare-Free technology, OLED HDR Pro, and more. Time to dive under the hood again.

As the fastest growing OLED TV brand[7], the Samsung lineup delivers deep blacks, bright whites and vibrant, Pantone®-validated colors, with powerful processors that upscale everything you watch into brilliant 4K resolution.

Samsung 2025 OLED TVs also introduce Samsung Vision AI[8] to offer not only cinematic picture and sound, but also AI-backed experiences for TV tailored to you. This includes features like Click to Search[9] and Live Translate[10], which help you learn more about what you’re watching and enjoy it all in your preferred language, while Universal Gestures[11] even lets you pause your show, adjust volume, navigate menus and more—with just your Galaxy Watch.

You won't have to look far for an extensive array of feature options as much of these stretch across their entire new lineup. Believe me when I say, I'm not even scratching the surface on what this TV can do. The days of "dumb" TVs appears to finally be over.
