Praise the Sun! Dark Souls: Remastered is coming to current gen consoles including Nintendo Switch on May 25th

Today, during the Nintendo Direct Mini presentation, Nintendo saved a surprise for its final game announcement: Dark Souls: Remastered is real, and it’s coming really soon.

This remaster of the popular action game will once again send players to Lordran as a Hollow, where you’ll fight enemies and vicious bosses to gain souls and level up. This version comes with the DLC pack, similar to the PC’s Prepare to Die Edition.

Developed by FromSoftware Inc., DARK SOULS: REMASTERED enables players to explore the twisted ancient land of Lordran in the first title of the critically acclaimed action role-playing series like never before. Experience the rich world of DARK SOULS in Dynamic 4K resolution when playing on a PlayStation 4 Pro system, Xbox One X, and STEAM. From their first timid steps to absolute mastery, players will build their characters by strategically adapting to daunting foes, exploring haunting locations, and amassing a large collection of weapons, armor, and magic spells to wield for a truly unique playstyle.

Dark Souls: Remastered will also include an improved frame-rate and an increased multiplayer cap of six players. This will be the first time the Dark Souls franchise will be playable on a Nintendo device.

Dark Souls: Remastered will be released on May 25th, 2018 for $39.99 for Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam. For more information, visit Bandai Namco’s official website.
