Xbox has been on a blistering pace in opening up their streaming capability. With the huge addition last year of Amazon Fire devices, you might think they had nothing else to conquer. Guess again, as Hisense is now getting the Xbox app. All the details are below.
Today, Xbox announced a partnership with V (formerly VIDAA) to bring the Xbox app to select Hisense and V homeOS-powered Smart TVs in 2026. Quotes from V and Microsoft spokespeople are provided below.
The Xbox app on V homeOS-powered Smart TVs presents more ways to play on Xbox:
- Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Premium, and Essential subscribers will be able to stream hundreds of games, from new releases to fan favorites, directly through the Xbox app on supported V homeOS, formerly VIDAA, TVs via Xbox Cloud Gaming.
- Xbox Game Pass subscribers can enjoy unlimited cloud gaming, allowing you to play games, including select games you own, on the devices you choose – giving you more freedom to play your way.
- With the Xbox app on V homeOS-powered Smart TVs, players will be able to explore a variety of great games including Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, Hollow Knight: Silksong, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, and many more.
