With Gamescom behind us, it’s time to see what new announcements NVIDIA has for us this week. They began by recapping everything unveiled during their Gamescom presentations, then moved into announcing Fort Solis and Black Myth Wukong will feature DLSS 3 support at launch. Finally, we got a look at all the games launching this week with DLSS enhancements. Check it out:
Fort Solis Gets a DLSS 3 Performance Upgrade
Fort Solis is a single player third person thriller set on Mars that was just released from Fallen Leaf, Black Drakkar Games and Dear Villagers.
The game ships with DLSS 3. In our testing, DLSS 3 multiplied frame rates by an average of 2.9X at 4K with all settings maxed out.
This Unreal Engine 5, Lumen-enhanced action-thriller not only boasts out of the box support for DLSS 3, it also leverages NVIDIA’s generative AI Audio2Face technology to create facial animation from audio, which was further refined in industry-standard apps, dramatically reducing the development time and resources required to animate the game’s facial expressions.
