Games Workshop has revealed another Ork that will appear in the upcoming Armageddon launch box for Warhammer 40K's next edition. Today, a new Warhammer Community post revealed a new look at a Boss Nob, a beefy Ork armed with a massive gun and a makeshift chainsaw. The new miniature most importantly has a tiny squig riding on his shoulder, which will automatically make this miniature beloved by a segment of the 40K fanbase. Reflecting the Orks' current war on Armageddon, the miniature also has several discarded Space Marine helmets, assumably trophies from recent kills.
The new Boss Nob will be featured in the upcoming Armageddon launch box, a special Warhammer 40K product that will launch alongside the new edition. The launch box will feature the makings of two armies - a Space Marine force and an Ork army - along with the rulebooks and accoutrements needed to play the game.
No release date was announced for the new Armageddon launch box, but it will likely be a summer release. As with any new edition of Warhammer 40K, the miniatures for the game will remain usable for the new version of the game. Games Workshop also specified that the army-specific codexes will also remain usable with the new ruleset.
