Vilnius, LT - October 7, 2025 - Nordcurrent has today announced I Am Machine, an intense isometric rogue-lite adventure that plunges players into a post-apocalyptic world. Set for release on November 6th, its first demo will be available on October 10th ahead of the Steam Next Fest on October 13th. The game combines fast-paced combat, strategic base-building, and narrative depth in a mechanized wasteland where survival demands lightning-fast reflexes and the ability to adapt on the fly.

In I Am Machine, players assume the role of Erik, a lone survivor transformed into a cybernetic warrior after losing everything to the machine uprising. With his daughter kidnapped and humanity scattered, Erik must navigate brutal mechanical foes and ever-changing environments in a desperate quest that will determine not only his fate but also the future of what remains of mankind.

The game's quick combat system ensures no two encounters play the same, with players customizing Erik's arsenal of over 100 upgrades that mix melee and ranged weapons into devastating combinations. Each biome presents distinct mechanical threats and environmental challenges, forcing constant adaptation of strategies and tactics.
Central to the experience is the innovative "Absorb and Flare" mechanic, allowing players to steal enemy abilities and turn their own devastating attacks against them. Defeated foes also provide scrap materials for crafting defensive installations like turrets and laser systems, allowing Erik to use them in fights and turn the tide of the battle in your favor.
Between battles, players encounter diverse survivors throughout the wasteland, each sharing stories that reveal the complex history of humanity's fall. Erik's hideout serves as both a sanctuary and a strategic hub, with repairs and upgrades unlocking essential equipment that becomes crucial as the mechanical threat intensifies.

I Am Machine's demo will be available on Steam on October 10th, and will launch on November 6th. For more information, follow Nordcurrent Labs on TwitterBskyDiscord, and YouTube.
