Today, Hunt: Showdown receives its first new map in three years.
Right now the map is only available on the PC test servers, but it will arrive on live servers for PC, PS4 and Xbox One later this summer.
The third map in the game, DeSalle, will bring a new feel to the bayou, said Fatih Özbayram, Senior Producer for Hunt: Showdown. It is designed to bring more verticality, allowing players to take and hold the high ground.
DeSalle features 16 distinct new areas, “combining the urban sprawl of two wild west towns” with mountainous, industrial and farm regions. The new map presents new possibilities and more approaches for players to take in hunting their targets.
Hunt: Showdown is available for purchase on PC, PS4 and Xbox One and can currently be purchased with all its DLC for $29.64 on Steam.
Check out our review on the game, here. Note that one of our main gripes was the lack of maps available in the game. Perhaps this will do something to assuage those problems, and maybe it is time to revisit the game three years into its life cycle.
