New Game+ Showcase reveals new Xbox intel

The first New Game+ Showcase arrived yesterday, and with some Xbox news to boot. Three games took the stage: Avowed, Grounded 2, and Towerborne. All three had some great news to bring to fans, and you can find those announcements below!

As part of today’s inaugural New Game+ Showcase, Xbox revealed the latest updates across Grounded 2, Avowed and Towerborne. Full details on each title can be found below, and be sure to check out extended developer interview segments for Grounded 2 and Avowed.

Grounded 2


The Winter Update is the first major content update for survival adventure game Grounded 2 which is available in in Game Preview for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox on PC, in Early Access on Steam, with Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, and supports Xbox Play Anywhere. The update expands Brookhollow Park with the first new biome in the game, The Garden, plus additional content and game improvements. For the latest news, please visit Grounded (@GroundedTheGame) / X.

Avowed

Learn more about the anniversary content update for fantasy RPG Avowed including New Game Plus, new weapon, and more. Avowed is available now for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, Battle.net, Steam, with Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, and supports Xbox Play Anywhere. The update releases February 17 for free to Xbox and PC players. Towerborne

Following its Xbox Game Preview release this past April, Towerborne is launching in full on February 26, 2026, on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, Steam, PlayStation 5, Game Pass (Premium and Ultimate), is handheld verified and supports Xbox Play Anywhere. This update brings a complete story campaign, new bosses, player abilities, difficulty settings, and a redesigned world map.
