Funcom has announced that they will showcase gameplay from the mid to endgame for Dune: Awakening during a livestream on May 28th, providing players with their first glimpse into what occurs as they reach further into Hagga Basin and into the Deep Desert.
Earlier this month, Funcom hosted a large-scale Beta Weekend of its upcoming multiplayer survival game Dune: Awakening. The event was a major success, with large numbers of players flocking onto the sands of Arrakis, stress-testing core systems to ensure the game is fully ready for launch on June 10th.
Players got to experience roughly 20-25 hours of the early survival experience, including about 25% of the Hagga Basin map, but this is only scratching the surface. Dune: Awakening is multiplayer survival on a massive scale, and beyond the beta lies a vast world full of content, challenges, and gameplay systems waiting to be uncovered.
That’s why developer and publisher Funcom will host an exclusive livestream on May 28th where developers will both show and talk about what players can expect to see as they reach further into Hagga Basin and beyond, into the Deep Desert.
We’ll head further into Hagga Basin, showing you what you can expect to see, build, and experience in the midgame. We’ll also cover advanced gameplay mechanics such as The Landsraad, and we’ll dive deep into the Deep Desert to show you how Dune: Awakening’s endgame game offers plenty to do whether you prefer PvE or PvP.
