It is late 1942 and the tide of war begins to turn against Germany. Desperate for a breakthrough, the Nazi high command turns to the emerging field of atomic weapons - placing their hopes in the Norwegian heavy water plant at Vemork. What begins as a simple mission to rescue captured resistance fighters quickly escalates into a desperate race against time.
