Movie inspired events are coming to Marvel Rivals

‘Path to Doomsday’ Content Coming in 2026 with Special Events and New Game Modes

Movie inspired events are coming to Marvel Rivals

We are now on the road to Doomsday, and I couldn't be more excited. In April, June, August, and October, Marvel Rivals is rolling out special events. These events will be inspired by the Avengers movies.

We also got some cool community metrics, which I will share below.

  • Discord community: More than 4.2M
  • Total playable Super Heroes: 47
  • Total maps launched: 20 (Practice Range is not included)
  • Total costumes released: 418
  • Extra Game modes available: 11

The new mode which will be a limited-time mode is an aasymmetric fight mode. One player will play as Loki. The Loki player will get an all-new skill set, which appears to be directly inspired by The Avengers. He will be able to manipulate enemy heroes in battle using mind control. On the hero side, they will be able to summon Hulk when certain conditions are met. Check out the Loki skin reward!

Plus, we got a look at some of the upcoming skins.

Marvel Rivals Musical Showcase

Shota Nakama (Composer) and Adriana Figueroa (Singer) took the stage to perform four new songs from the game for the very first time:
  • Path to Rivals
  • No One Rivals Doom
  • Rivals Til’ the End
  • Flight Mode (feat. LUNA)
Disney Consumer Products

Today, Disney Consumer Products also kicked off the Marvel Assemble! campaign, which invites Marvel fans to assemble their friends and family to celebrate Marvel’s legendary team of Super Heroes and epic storytelling. At the event, products inspired by Marvel Rivals were showcased to attendees including Hot Toys Marvel Rivals Cosbi Collection, Funko POP! Jeff the Land Shark plush, the LEGO Group Ravager Jumpsuit Groot, and more. Fans can keep an eye out at retailers and online for more from the Marvel Assemble! Campaign, and in the coming months, celebrate Earth's Mightiest Heroes with all-new collectibles, apparel, toys, comics, games, digital content, animation and more, building towards the highly anticipated release of Marvel Studios' Avengers: Doomsday, in theaters Dec. 18.
