Fumi Games says cheese in their debut title
Today, PlaySide Studios and Fumi Games have released ‘MOUSE: P.I. For Hire - A Deep Dive Documentary,’ a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the upcoming gritty noir first-person shooter MOUSE P.I. For Hire

Within the documentary, viewers can hear directly from the developers at Fumi Games on the game's hand-crafted visuals, which are based on the rubber hose animation style that defined 1930s American cartoons, and the team’s process of animating everything completely by hand. The documentary also gives a glimpse into the noir-fueled detective story, starring Jack Pepper (voiced by the iconic Troy Baker) as he works to unravel a complex web of intrigue, with corruption, kidnapping and murder all on the docket. The action-packed combat is also on full display, showcasing the many weapons players will stumble across as the enemies they’ll turn into Swiss cheese with them.

As you might have seen, MOUSE: P.I. For Hire recently announced that the game will launch on PC (Steam), Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 1 and Nintendo Switch 2 on March, 19 2026.
