More Orks miniatures teased for Warhammer 40K, hinting at new edition's launch army

The hints of new Ork models grow larger, as Games Workshop starts to tease its new edition.

A Grot that's part of a yet to be revealed Warhammer 40K Ork miniature

Games Workshop is leaning into the rumors of an Ork refresh for Warhammer 40K's 11th Edition. Today, the company released three teaser images featuring parts of various new Ork models. The first showed an eye patch-sporting Grot, the second featured a power klaw, and the third showed a custom ork kannon. Additionally, Games Workshop teased that an even bigger announcement would be coming next week, seemingly teasing more Ork content ahead.

Orks are widely rumored to be the focus of Warhammer 40K's 11th Edition launch box, which is widely expected to be released this summer. The rumors were compounded by the leak of an Ork Warboss last Friday, which was quickly confirmed by Games Workshop in a Warhammer Community post Friday evening.

If the rumors are correct, the new launch box will feature the Blood Angels and the Orks battling on Armageddon. The Blood Angels will be represented by generic Space Marine miniatures (meaning that purchasers can choose to paint them with whatever chapter colors they like), while the Orks will receive a range-wide refresh. If the new edition is coming, look to Adepticon later this month as a likely time when it will be announced.
