On Thursday, December 11th, Capcom and Monster Hunter series producer Ryozo Tsujimoto hosted the December Monster Hunter Showcase. This showcase provided new trailers and dev insights for Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection as well as Monster Hunter Wilds' Title Update 4, the latter of which is now available.
Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 4
- Return of Gogmazios - In order to tackle this titanic monster, groups of up to four Hunters and four Support Hunters are being tasked to form parties of eight capable of slaying this fearsome foe. Gogmazios materials can be used to upgrade rarity 8 Artian Weapons into Gogma Artian Weapons.
- Hunting for a Challenge - On December 24, Arch-tempered Jin Dahaad will appear as a permanent Event Quest that rewards Hunters with materials for a powerful Gamma armor set. New Optional Quests also arrive in the update; brave Hunters can test their skills against multiple 9★ monsters to earn special Nameplate rewards, and new Hunting Exercises (optional quests) offer a great way to practice fighting against tempered 9★ monsters.
- Festival of Accord: Lumenhymn - On December 19, the Festival of Accord: Lumenhymn will arrive with festive décor and meals at the Grand Hub, alongside the ability to earn special equipment, gestures, and decorations.
- Steam-Specific Stability Patch - In January 2026 Monster Hunter Wilds will receive a Steam-specific stability patch, designed to offer additional optimization options, pre-sets, and improvements on top of the stability and optimization updates arriving to all platforms in Title Update 4.

Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection
- New Mechanics and Monsters Emerge - In the latest trailer, Riders were introduced to the unique duties of the Ranger Corps, a courageous group led by the protagonist tasked with safeguarding the future of the natural ecosystem. In the face of the Crystal Encroachment, their mission is to track, protect, and hatch endangered monster eggs before habitat destruction throws the two kingdoms of Azuria and Vermeil into chaos. Rangers engage in Habitat Restoration, reintroducing displaced monsters to the wild and boosting Ecosystem Ranks, which unlock rarer eggs, powerful monsters, and Monsties with unique skills.
- Power Up Monsties with the Dual-Element System - Through the Dual-Element system, a monster can acquire the elemental attributes of the area where it is hatched from, gaining both new element-based skills and visual traits.
- Arkveld Arrives - Arkveld, the powerful flagship monster from Monster Hunter Wilds will make its wild debut to the Stories series!
Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection rides onto Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam on March 13, 2026.
