Big news! One of the world's best platformers is back. Rayman, the original game from 1995, is heading to Gameboy devices once again. ModRetro is publishing it as a part of their publishing arm, which of course means you should grab a Chromatic and give it a try. This is the Gameboy Color version in all it's original glory, so get ready to have fun!

ModRetro is bringing Rayman back in handheld form to celebrate the game’s 30th anniversary!

Originally released by Ubisoft in 1995, Rayman became known for its imaginative worlds, quirky characters, and innovative gameplay. The game later came to handheld with a Game Boy® Color version in 2000, and now, for the 30th anniversary, it returns in enhanced form on Chromatic—giving fans a chance to rediscover the classic adventure.

What to expect in the Rayman 30th Anniversary handheld re-release:
  • Over 30 levels filled with enemies, hidden secrets, and Toon chaos.
  • Signature moves, including jumping, swinging, and Rayman’s punch attack.
  • A brand new soundtrack immerses you deeper into the action.
