On November 15, Atomic Mass Games hosted their annual Ministravaganza, which shows off future releases for their core games, Marvel Crisis Protocol, Star Wars: Shatterpoint, and Star War: Legion.
As big fans of these games and IP, Alec and I dug in to tell you what excites us, what we wish we saw, and what our takes on what models you'll probably see on the table next year!
Marvel Crisis Protocol

Tons of powerful models including Onslaught! Photos courtesy of AMG.
Firstly a four pack of some Iron Man classics including Iron Lad, Rescue, Iron Monger, and a surprising 4th pick, Kang The Conqueror.
Randy: This pack is interesting, but the model I'm very curious about Kang. As of publication, the character card hasn't been revealed, but I would hope for some dice manipulation and control focused powers.
The Cosmic side of Marvel gets another look at Adam Warlock, Moondragon, and Quasar, whom we first saw at Adepticon. The sculpts look amazing, and one could expect some heavy hits from Warlock, one of the most powerful Marvel characters.
Alec: The Guardians of the Galaxy line-up from the Annihilation: Conquest comic is one of my all-time favorites. Not only did they base the MCU team on this team. but it also serves as one of the best team-ups for the Guardians of the Galaxy throughout their comic history. Adam Warlock and Phyla-Vell are the two that were absent, and now they're here!
In speaking of powerful Marvel characters, Atomic Mass is dipping right into the 90s and pulled Onslaught out to play. First appearing in 1996, Onslaught is a mixture of the psyche of both Professor X and Magneto, which posed a massive threat (and cross over) to the Marvel Universe. All that we have today is the image of the model, so we're definitely hoping for a encounter and maybe some fun rules...
Randy: If we're getting Onslaught, does that mean we're getting Nate Grey at some point?
Sentinels are getting a huge boost, with new Affiliation Cards, an Operation Zero Tolerance Crisis Card pack, and several new models, including Bastion, Nimrod, and Omega Sentinel.
Hulk fans are finally getting The Red Hulk, which comes with a wild looking sculpt, the Leader, and the Sensational She Hulk, in a sculpt that shows Jen going from lawyer to Hulk mode, which is such a rad sculpt.
Young Avengers fans will be happy with a 3 pack of Patriot, Kate Bishop, and America Chavez, Thor fans will finally get the Warriors Three and Valkyrie, and most surprisingly, a pack of Ghost Rider villains were announced, including Blackheart, The Orb, and Jack O'Lantern.
Alec: I am very excited to see the Warriors Three aid the Asgardian rosters. Valkyrie and Elendil is an absolutely gorgeous model, Bi-Frost on the base and all. Jack O'Lantern is a real surprise, to be honest. However, this is one of a few Army of Thunderbolt headliners from the Civil War comic run, which may mean a Venom (Mac Gargan/Scorpion), Lady Deathstrike, and even a Jester will be released down the line to join up with Taskmaster and Bullseye.
Randy: My only criticism about these announcements is the lack of Fantastic Four and Doctor Doom. But this only drives my desire to have those models even more, so good on AMG.
Alec: Licensing always makes things complicated, but I, too, was surprised to not see any Fantastic Four characters, including the family, Silver Surfer, Dr. Doom, or even an epic Galactus.

Star Wars: Shatterpoint
With The Force Awakens at the 10-year release anniversary, AMG is now getting into the sequel trilogy, along with rounding out Ahsoka villains. Most importantly,. we're one step closer to Jar Jar with the addition of Qui-Gon Jinn and Padawan Obi-Wan Kenobi, Captain Panaka, and some Naboo Royal Guards!

Night Troopers and Elderly Han and Finn with a Lightsaber!? Photos courtesy of AMG.
Randy: I am thoroughly excited for the Ahsoka villains. I love the deep lore that the show got into, and the mystical nature of the Night Troopers, Morgan Elsbeth, and Baylan Skoll just excite me from a modeling perspective and whatever they can do in combat.
Alec: I am so excited to pair my Queen Amidala and her Handmaidens with the appropriately-themed squad of the Jedi and Panaka. The new Strategic Mission Card Pack looks like it will be a welcomed addition to the game, adding another mission that looks at first glance like it'll favor ranged attacks.
Also, it's great seeing the sequel trilogy get some love. The first few sets are promising plenty of First Order Heroes, including Captain Phasma, Kylo Ren, FN-2199 (the guy who yells "Traitor!"), and some troopers, as well some iconic Resistance characters like Rey (as a Jakku Scavenger), Zorri Bliss, and seasoned Han Solo and Chewie.
It is a choice to have Finn with a lightsaber, and honestly, I'm curious about his card and how it will operate. Will he have Force powers? Will he be more focused on shooting? Jedi-in-training Rey, Old Man Luke, Snoke, and his Praetorian Guard may be on the horizon.
The new Strategic Mission Card Pack helps round out this announcement, with the promise of more views in 2026...I need some Porg models, stat.
Star Wars: Legion
After some big releases in Q4 of 2025 with the new Starter Sets (reviews coming soon), customizable commanders and operatives, and card packs, Legion is getting even more expansions, including Weequay Pirates, Jedi on BARC speeders, Imperial leaders, Hoth-themed Battleforces, and some mountable vehicles (including the Tauntaun!)

Star Wars: Legion Ministravaganza announcements promise more depth to the game. Photos courtesy of AMG.
Alec: Seeing the Hoth stuff is super exciting! Not only are we getting Tauntauns and Probe Droids, but getting some official Hoth Battleforces is really awesome. Echo Base Defenders (Rebels) and Blizzard Force (Empire) are going to be two great entry points for new players or for veteran plyers looking to start a new army. An AT-AT would be much appreciated for those Imperial Players!
I am very excited to add the BARC mounts for the GAR for Anakin and Obi-Wan. The Confederacy heroes pack looks epic (so many awesome models and colors to paint), and, being a big fan of Mace Windu, I am glad he's coming to Legion finally!

Hoth Army Boxes coming Q2 2026 (please pardon the screenshots!)
A lot of the announcements for Legion will definitely add more complexity to the game. Thrawn, Tarkin, Krennic will all be useful to diversity of Empire armies, while everyone can take advantage of Weequay Pirates and the WLO-5 Speeder Tank. Han and Chewie being added as a Scum unit is also a unique take on them, and will hopefully open up some playability options for them and their available armies (TBD).
Randy: I'm also pretty excited for the BARC Speeders to start boosting my Grand Army of the Republic. Also, Mace Windu in Legion? Sign me up.
Rounding out the announcements are Upgrade and Battle Deck packs, along with an image depicting the character from Star Wars: Rebels, noted with "2027" release, so you can see where Legion is headed.
Final takeaways
This was a meaty release for the AMG games, especially for Legion. Points adjustments were also announced and that will shake up the meta. The lore that these three games are getting into are incredibly exciting places; Young Avengers, Ahsoka, Hulk universe for MCP and theSequel Trilogy for Shatterpoint. While we did not get a Doctor Doom, Gungan squads (yet), or a Porg minis, 2026 is looking pretty bright and robust for Atomic Mass Games and their gaming fans.
