Marvel's Deadpool gets a story trailer. Swearing ensues.

It's almost time to make the chimichangas, and to celebrate the impending launch of Marvel's Deadpool VR, we've got a brand new trailer to jam directly into our eyeballs! How rated R is it? Well...I can't even embed the thing – you'll have to watch it on YouTube:

Coming to the Meta Quest 3 and Quest 3S, the game features a pretty fantastic sounding Neil Patrick Harris as Deadpool. Could this have gone to Ryan Reynolds? It's kinda hilarious that it didn't.

My time at Summer Game Fest 2025 gave me some hands-on time with the game, as well as a developer interview. Did I hand them a "Best of" award on camera? You're damned right.

The Twisted Pixel team described the game thusly:

Like any great VR game, if you can imagine it, you can probably do it. Sure, you can simply stab or shoot your enemies, but where’s the fun in that? Punch someone while holding a grenade? Check. Take your recently exploded-off arm and throw it at the bad guys? Gross, but also check. Hold an enemy’s face into a spinning propeller? A bloody, but efficient, check. Soldiers, demonic dogs, weird humanoid lizards, creepy worm-things, they’re all waiting to be dismembered in creative (some might say sadistic) ways.

From what I got to play, that is exactly what this game is – the ultimate Deadpool experience.

You won't have to wait much longer! Marvel's Deadpool VR is coming to Meta Quest and Meta Quest 3S on November 18th, 2025!
