Lou's Lagoon is a charming trip back to the early 2000's. They just don't make games like this anymore, and but thankfully developer Tiny Roar is putting in the effort. They're going a step further too, with Lou’s Lagoon releasing on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles as well as PC! Take a look at the announcement below, and our SGF 2025 preview.

London, UK – March 9th, 2026: Tiny Roar and Megabit Publishing are thrilled to announce that Lou’s Lagoon is coming to PlayStation and Xbox in 2026. The eagerly anticipated high flying adventure will launch on console alongside the previously announced Steam and Nintendo Switch® versions. Xbox Play Anywhere will also be supported, allowing players to play across the Xbox ecosystem on console and PC at no extra cost.
Today’s announcement arrives alongside a new trailer that offers PC and console players a fresh look at the game’s gadgets – including the Swirler 2000 for resource collection – and the emotive narrative centered around the search for the protagonist’s beloved Uncle Lou.
“As huge console gamers since our childhood and the whole team having different favorite platforms, it is a huge honor to bring Lou’s Lagoon to so many players at launch,” said Robert Koch, Game Director on Lou’s Lagoon. “We think you should play games, where and how you want to play them, but it is not always possible due to time and budget constraints. Thanks to Megabit’s efforts and the welcoming arms of Nintendo, Sony, Valve and Xbox we will invite ALL of you to the Limbo archipelago, sporting your favorite controller in hand - we can’t wait.”
Lou’s Lagoon is a cozy exploration and crafting adventure, set in the tropical archipelago of Limbo. Arriving after a storm has hit the islands, players take to the skies in their trusty seaplane to help the islanders back on their feet, rebuild damaged communities, and unravel the mystery of Uncle Lou’s disappearance. The game has resonated strongly with players with more than 100,00 wishlists on Steam to date.
Lou’s Lagoon will be landing on PC and console later this year. Players can prepare for takeoff by wishlisting Lou’s Lagoon on Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox today.
