Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 1 & 2 Remastered physical editions available today

Aspyr and Crystal Dynamics have announced the physical release of their fantastic Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 1 & 2 Remastered title for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch, popping onto shelves for all major retailers. Containing both Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver and Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 2, these games are magnificently remastered with all-new higher-resolution textures, models and VFX, as well as a new photo mode, upgraded camera, new control options, enhanced performance and more. What'd we think of it? Well, let's check our review:

Soul Reaver and its sequel are both perfect storms of story, voice work, soundtracks, and now they have the final pieces they needed to become classics for a new generation with revamped controls and now gorgeous graphics. While I’d like to see the execution be a touch cleaner, the sum of its parts is so damned strong that it lets you experience this incredible game all over again. I know you, Raziel. You are worthy.

You can pick up two editions of the game – a Standard and a Deluxe Edition. While the Standard Edition ($29.99) is essentially just a physical version of the game, the Deluxe Edition have the goods you'll want to nab.

The Deluxe Edition of Legacy of Kain™: Soul Reaver 1 & 2 Remastered includes a physical copy of the title, a SteelBook, an artbook (highlighting the collection’s stunning remastered gothic environments, architecture, characters, enemies, weapons, and concept and key art), the official soundtrack on a physical CD, and a collectible tuck-in box. The Deluxe Edition is available on PlayStation®5 and Nintendo Switch at Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, GameStop, and Target for $49.99.
