Lara Croft had an exciting Gamescom with three major announcements

Lara Croft has been busy, as made apparent by the three major announcements made during Gamescom. A new trailer for the upcoming animated Netflix series TOMB RAIDER: The Legend of Lara Croft was shown, along with a CG trailer showcasing Lara’s outfit for NARAKA: BLADEPOINT, and finally there was a look at Dark Horse and Crystal Dynamics second installment in their Tomb Raider collectible series. Revealed on the Tomb Raider blog last week, fans got an exciting new look at TOMB RAIDER: The Legend of Lara Croft with this official teaser trailer! Premiering exclusively on Netflix on October 10, this new animated series picks up after the events of the Survivor Trilogy and will chart the iconic heroine’s next chapter as a globetrotting adventurer.

In this upcoming show, Lara Croft (voiced by Hayley Atwell) has left her friends to tackle new challenges on her own. When a dangerous and powerful artifact is stolen from Croft Manor, Lara must return home, confront her true self, and determine what kind of a hero she wants to become. During Geoff Keighley’s Opening Night Live ceremony at Gamescom, fans were treated to a new announcement from Crystal Dynamics and NetEase: the Lara Croft outfit for Matari is coming to NARAKA: BLADEPOINT today for Steam, PlayStation and Xbox!

NARAKA: BLADEPOINT is a free-to-play, fast-paced, melee-focused battle royale game. Matari is a trained assassin whose beauty is matched only by her lethality. Much like Lara, she knows that sometimes a problem needs a “quieter” solution than just running in guns blazing.
