Join the Marathon Server Slam tomorrow!

Marathon, Bungie's highly-anticipated extraction shooter, will be available next week for full retail release, but everyone will get the chance to jump in and experience the game starting tomorrow! Bungie has announced their Server Slam, which will run from February 26 to March 2, starting and ending at 10 AM PT.

Players worldwide can jump into Marathon during the open preview Server Slam on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam from February 26, 2026 at 10 a.m. PT to March 2 at 10 a.m. PT*. Marathon’s Server Slam will not require PlayStation Plus or Xbox Game Pass, and will be part of Xbox’s Free Play Days and Steam Next Fest.

The Server Slam offers an introduction to Marathon's gameplay with a limited selection of maps, Runner shells, and contracts. Additional maps, factions, contracts, gear, and more to come at launch and during Season 1. 

Players who participate in or watch the Server Slam can earn multiple rewards for Marathon’s launch on March 5, including tiered gear packages, cosmetic Twitch Drops, and more.

Gear up with new Marathon merch
Players eager to take their Marathon experience beyond the Server Slam can gear up with new items from the Marathon Collection [001], available for purchase at 10 a.m. PT on February 26 on the Bungie Store:

Additionally, players can still pre-order Marathon via the Marathon Collector’s Edition on the Bungie Store.
