It's FICSMAS time! Satisfactory’s Festive Event Returns for Both PC and Console Players!

This is my first FICSMAS, and I am so excited! Here is everything you can expect! Dive into all of the release notes now and get ready to have some fun!

The festive spirit is returning to Satisfactory, rolling across the production lines with a cheerful clatter! Coffee Stain Studios’ fan-favourite and award winning factory-building simulator welcomes back its beloved free in-game FICSMAS event from December 1st to January 18th! The FICSMAS event returns this year for PC fans of the hit automation sim, and for the newly recruited console players.

During this limited-time celebration, players will notice gifts raining down from the sky, and a festive Advent Calendar with an unexpected twist waiting inside the HUB. By unlocking those daily calendar doors, players can enjoy an assortment of holiday decorations, including a shimmering FICSMAS tree and festive ornaments to adorn their well-crafted constructions.

Coffee Stain Studios will also herald the return of the FICSMAS Community Competition, where players are invited to put on their most festive construction hats to create the ultimate festive FICSMAS scene - a jolly construction that doesn’t just look the part, but also operates with peak factory efficiency. This year, players can construct their functional-yet-festive workshops for two categories: PC FICSMAS Build of the Year and Console FICSMAS Build of the Year.

Running from now until January 9th, entries will be judged on creativity, functionality, and just how outrageously they lean into the FICSMAS spirit, with lots of goodies to be won for both PC and console players. Satisfactory and this year's FICSMAS update is available to play now on Steam and Epic Games Store for PC players, and on the PlayStation Store and Xbox Store for console players.

About FICSMAS
Advent Calendar

• For each day from December 1st and 25th, players can open a new door in the HUB-located Advent Calendar packed with seasonal goodies to put to use.
• These goodies range from resources and festive skins to FICSMAS recipes, decorations, FICSIT Coupons, piles of snow, and plenty more surprises.
• For players who need a little guidance, a helpful hint button is located in the bottom-right corner of the menu.
• All doors can also be opened retroactively for the duration of the FICSMAS event, so no need to worry about missing a day, as your goodies will be waiting for you to collect.

Gift Drops

• Heads up! MASSAGE-2(A-B)b is getting showered with enormous parachuting presents, descending softly onto the factory floors.
• Collect these FICSMAS presents and run them through MAM research and production buildings to unlock new items.

New MAM Research

• The FICSMAS Holiday Event research tree is now live, packed with 13 festive items for players to uncover and complete.

Optional Event

• FICSMAS is an optional event which can be toggled on and off in the settings menu.

• Entries will be evaluated based on creativity, functionality, and how fully they embrace the FICSMAS spirit.

Eligibility & Duration

• Open to both PC and console players, in their respective categories. The competition runs from now until January 9th with winners announced in the new year. [Note that the FICSMAS in-game event continues until January 18th].

How to Enter

• Build your FICSMAS-themed creation in-game, capture screenshots or record a video showcasing your creation, and submit your entry as a post with the Contest flair on r/SatisfactoryGame Reddit.

Prizes

• Winning submission: $500 voucher to LizardDoggo and a Xenobasher replica.
• Top 10 submissions: 3 copies of Satisfactory to share with friends.
