There was a lot going on at The Game Awards 2025. With big names like Gemma Chan and Lenny Kravitz showing up, big games like Star Wars: Fate of the Old Republic and Divinity arriving for the first time, and more, it was electric. There were plenty of awards to give out, many which went to a very special game in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. Check out all the winners below.

The Game Awards, the video game industry’s biggest year-end celebration, honored the most innovative games, studios and creatives of 2025 tonight, airing live in 4K UHD tonight across more than 30 different digital video platforms globally, including Prime Video for the first time ever. Sandfall Interactive and Kepler Interactive’s Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 received top honors as the 2025 Game of the Year award recipient, as well as Best Game Direction, Best Narrative, Best Art Direction, Best Score and Music, Best Performance, Best Independent Game, Best Debut Indie Game and Best RPG.

The top stars across entertainment and video games including, Dan Houser, David Harbour, Elijah Wright, Felicia Day, Gemma Chan, J.J. Abrams, Jeffrey Wright, Lenny Kravitz, Maggie Robertson, Megan Everett, Mike Booth, Milla Jovovich, Miss Piggy, Neil Newbon, Nicolas Doucet, Rahul Kohli, Rebecca Ford, Rowlf, Todd Howard and Tricia Helfer took to the stage to present awards at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles for The Game Awards 2025 live, in-person production.

The show included a special live musical performance by Grammy-Award winning American rock band Evanescence who performed “Afterlife” from the Netflix animated series Devil May Cry, based on Capcom's popular action-adventure video game franchise. Additionally, the cast of Paramount Pictures’ upcoming film Street Fighter including Andrew Koji, Andrew Schulz, Callina Liang, Cody Rhodes, David Dastmalchian, Jason Momoa, Mel Jarson, Noah Centineo, Olivier Richters , Orville Peck, Rayna Vallandingham, Roman Reigns and Vidyut Jammwal presented the award for Best Ongoing Game. The Game Awards Orchestra conducted by BAFTA and Emmy nominated composer Lorne Balfe, performed scores from the year’s Game of the Year nominees and more.

While honoring the games and creatives who propelled the industry forward in 2025, The Game Awards also revealed a first look at highly anticipated games and entertainment properties including, 007 First Light (IO Interactive), 4:LOOP (Bad Robot Games and Sony Interactive Entertainment), Invincible VS (Skybound Entertainment), Out of Words (Kong Orange, WiredFly and Morten Søndergaard in partnership with Epic Games Publishing), Resident Evil: Requiem (Capcom), Star Wars: Fate of the Old Republic (Arcanaut Studios), The Super Mario Galaxy Movie (Universal Pictures), Tomb Raider: Catalyst (Amazon Games and Crystal Dynamics) and Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis (Amazon Games and Crystal Dynamics) and WARLOCK: DUNGEONS & DRAGONS (Invoke Studios and Wizards of the Coast).

For the fourth year, The Game Awards honored the most beloved new entertainment experiences inspired by video games, with The Last of Us: Season 2 (HBO/PlayStation Productions) taking home the “Best Adaptation” award this year.
