BURLINGTON, DECEMBER 11, 2025 - Announced during the The Game Awards 2025 Pre-Show, Ben Throop, Creative Lead of Frame Interactive, is excited to reveal The Free Shepherd, an atmospheric adventure where a loyal border collie sets out alone to save flocks of lost sheep in a beautiful and mysterious world, coming to PC and PS5 in 2027.
The Free Shepherd explores the beauty and power of nature, combining cinematic exploration with quiet emotional storytelling and light fantastical elements. Set across sweeping landscapes inspired by travels to Iceland, players can embrace canine instincts while unlocking the mysteries of the island, the portals on it, and the calamity that faces them all. Vermont-based cellist Zoë Keating is onboard to compose the music for the game.
