Brno, December 19, 2024 – MADFINGER Games, the acclaimed Czech indie studio announces that Gray Zone Warfare, the first-of-its-kind seamless open-world extraction shooter has been ranked among the Top 20 new games in Steam’s Gross Revenue for 2024, according to the respected outlet The GameDiscoverCo. With over 1 million base game units sold and 1.5 million total units in less than a year since its Early Access launch on April 30th, the game proudly stands alongside industry giants. To celebrate this success, the studio has released a new gameplay trailer showcasing the recent major update, Night Ops.

Players must adapt to an accelerated 2:1 day/night rhythm, using night vision goggles (NVGs), flashlights, and laser sights to navigate and strategize in the darkness, with each tool requiring skill to master. Since the update’s release, the game has also received five hotfixes, a patch, and recent AI improvements, which have been well-received by the community. Players can look forward to further improvements to the current version of the game in the upcoming year.
