Call of Duty: Warzone: New Offensive Equipment
Let’s dive a little deeper into the capabilities of the new Equipment coming to Call of Duty: Warzone at Season 01:

Tactical: Pinpoint Grenade (Ground Loot Only): Unlike the Snapshot Grenade, which offers a quick burst of intel, the Pinpoint Grenade provides sustained reconnaissance for a short duration. When active, it deploys tracking darts at enemies entering its radius, marking their positions for you and your squad. Each pulse can tag multiple targets over time, making it a powerful tool for coordinated pushes. Enemies can remove the dart if they act quickly, balancing its impact while keeping the intel flow strategic rather than overwhelming.
Tactical: Psych Grenade: An experimental projectile that causes confusion and chaos; a disorienting red gas that can spawn phantom facsimiles of nearby enemies, creating visual, audio, and minimap distortion within its radius. Use it to break line-of-sight, bait opponents into false engagements, or slip away while they chase ghosts.
Tactical: Phantom Signal (Ground Loot Only): This scrambles enemy awareness and exposes their position. When deployed, it forces up to three nearby foes to emit distorted audio cues while briefly revealing their locations on the compass. Their HUD flickers with interference during the effect, leaving them momentarily disoriented and vulnerable to pursuit.
Lethal: Needle Drone (Ground Loot Only): A compact, throwable mini-drone that detonates on impact — or with quick reflexes can be remotely steered and manually triggered within a brief six-second control window. Perfect for precision strikes in situations or for surprise plays, the Needle Drone delivers lethal accuracy.
Field Upgrade: Echo Unit: Deploy the Echo Unit to create a lifelike decoy that mirrors your Operator’s appearance and stance. Unlike traditional holographic projections, this advanced mimic replicates your current posture — standing or crouched — making it a convincing distraction for unsuspecting enemies.
Call of Duty: Warzone Available Perks
Weapons > Loadouts > Custom Loadouts > Perk 1/Perk 2/Perk 3
The last part of your Loadout planning requires you to inspect and choose three Perks from a total of 15, one each from a set of five in Perk slots 1, 2, and 3. Here are the available Perks, with more to find during a Match:
Perk 1 (Blue): Choose one of the following:

Scavenger: Improves Ammo and Resource acquisition.
Veteran: Improves equipment resistance and Long-Range weapon handling.
Mountaineer: Gain damage negation when falling.
Cold-Blooded: Gain immunity to tracking equipment, targeting systems, and electronic interference.
Grenadier: Improves explosive equipment and equipment handling.
Perk 2 (Red): Choose one of the following:

Quick Fix: Improves armor handling and health regen.
Alertness: Improves awareness.
Reactive Armor: Improves armory recovery and defense.
Bomb Squad: Gain explosive resistance and equipment negation.
Sprinter: Improves Sprinting and movement.
Perk 3 (Yellow): Choose one of the following:

Tempered: Improves armor.
Adaptive: Improves explosive defense, movement, and handling.
Tracker: Improves tracking and target acquisition.
Survivor: Improves health regeneration, revives, and provides one-hit protection against ballistic weapons.
Ghost: Improves stealth.
Expect more details on Perks from Raven Software in the days before and during Season 01 Launch.
New Resurgence Map: Welcome to Haven’s Hollow

The battle lines have been re-drawn, as the area of operations shifts to an isolated Appalachian town that feels straight out of another era. Though parts of the picturesque hamlet of Haven’s Hollow may look familiar, there are plenty of new areas to explore. It’s also the stage for fast-paced frenetic Resurgence gameplay.

Get a step ahead of the competition with a deeper look at the major POIs you’ll encounter in your deployments to Haven’s Hollow.
The primary points of interest include:
- Mansion
- Pond
- Train Station
- Barn
- Research Center
- Main Street
- River Boat
- Coal Depot
- Lumbermill
Mansion

The Mansion will be instantly familiar site to anyone who played the Shattered Veil Zombies map in Black Ops 6. A giant T-Rex fossil — thankfully long dead — greets Operators by the staircase in the main hall, doorways on the first and second floor branching off into other rooms and levels. Take the stairs or latch onto an Ascender to reach the rooftop or move through the surrounding grounds like the courtyard and over the water toward the Research Center.
Pond

Watch out for snipers firing down from the ranger station overlooking the Pond. In the middle, a gazebo sits on a small island of land with a Zipline toward a covered bridge on one side and a rest area on the other. The water itself is shallow, though even then it’s advised to keep your boots dry, considering the many power positions overlooking the area in the circle of land that surrounds it.
Train Station

Engage in long-range skirmishes across the open expanse of the Train Station, a mostly flat area with the central station and a few smaller outbuildings making up a meager amount of interior space. Follow the tracks down to the bridge toward Main Street or explore the cliffside where the terrain cuts down near straight to the water.
Barn

Hit up the Barn to gather supplies in the main building or any of the surrounding homes supporting the operation, built on a flat block of land just uphill of Main Street.

As the center of the map, you’re bound to cross paths with enemy squads. Climb the ladder up the grain silo to dominate from above or post up in one of the houses and prepare an ambush.
Research Center

Explore Haven’s Lab and the smaller Data Center, the buildings surrounded by a parking lot and walking paths creating long sightlines on the outside. For closer combat, head into Haven’s Lab, a large three-level structure with an atrium in the middle. For even tighter brawls, head to the Data Center.
Main Street

The heart of Haven’s Hollow provides residents and tourists alike with a variety of amenities including a video rental store, ice cream shop, hardware store, and other folksy additions to make people feel right at home.

Fans of the Liberty Falls map from Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies will recognize the motel, comic store, and bowling alley amongst other infamous locations in this main thoroughfare of clustered buildings.
Riverboat

The pride of the town, Haven’s Gamble offers luxurious river cruises on a three-tiered paddleboat right on the water south of Main Street. A row of slot machines and card tables line the bottom level while a bar, grill, and stage adorn the top. Explore the outer deck on all three levels, firing on enemies in the water and inland. For quick access on and off, look to the covered walkways and the Ziplines attached to the front and back.
Coal Depot

The Coal Depot slopes in tiered levels downhill toward the Lumbermill, the two areas comprising Haven Hollow’s industrial sector. Coal Depot rewards creative tactical play; use its blend of tracks, train cars, coal piles, and interior spaces to set up flanking attacks and ambushes. Explore the center warehouse for loot or get up on the roof for a commanding view of the area. For a lower profile, hit up one of the smaller buildings on either side.
Lumbermill

Two large buildings, connected by a central walkway, dominate the site, their open floorplans opening mid-ranged sightlines throughout the interior. A silo outside offers the perfect viewing platform covering the main road through town, and a trio of warehouses offer room to loot up and a place slip away from more populated areas of the map.
New Verdansk POIs (Launch)
In addition to marking the release of Haven’s Hollow, the Season 01 update also brings two POIs to Verdansk, the brand-new Signal Station and the remastered Factory.
Signal Station

A new Guild complex arrives in the north of Verdansk, instantly recognizable by its three white spheres looking over the frozen lake and forest. Explore the main building featuring multiple levels of combat and a large central area where squads can interact with the facility to access additional map intel.

Outside, the road curves through a covered pathway at the base of the facility. Drive in, Zipline up into the main building, get what you need, and zip back out. The smaller warehouse by the helipad out front offers a more concealed area, good for ambushing enemies on the ground, the opposite garage offering similar advantages along the main road.
Factory

Players with experience in Verdansk ’84 will recognize this sprawling industrial site located just east of Superstore. Guild Rockets are being developed and stored in the updated Factory site, supported by an intricate system of worksites, silos, warehouses, and other supporting facilitates.

The dense cluster of buildings is packed with loot, well worth a stop if you can survive the trip. The iconic location is bound to draw a lot of attention, its tightly packed buildings giving squads lots of room to maneuver. Keep your comms active to stay one step ahead of the enemy, and for a near full view of the Factory exterior, send your best sharpshooter up the Ascender to the top of the control tower.
Season 01 Modes and Playlists

Drop into Haven’s Hollow, Rebirth Island, and the newly updated Verdansk and expect the following Modes, with additional Playlists as the season progresses:
- Battle Royale, Battle Royale Casual
- Resurgence, Resurgence Casual
Additionally, reports of anomalies appearing periodically throughout certain [CLASSIFIED] locations appear to be valid. Further inspection is required at Mid-Season.
Polaris Vehicles Return with a Fresh Look for Season 01

Returning to Verdansk, heading to Rebirth Island, or dropping into Haven’s Hollow? Then plan your vehicle acquisition accordingly, Operator, as your preferred mode of transport is likely to be the Polaris RZR Pro R 4 UTV, and the Polaris Sportsman XP 1000 ATV off-road vehicles, all arriving in Season 01 sporting a new, sleek, Black Ops 7 design.
RIDE. RESPAWN. REPEAT: Keep an eye out for the upcoming Polaris x Call of Duty give-away for a chance to win weekly prize bundles and the real-life, limited edition Polaris vehicles.
