Get Ready for a Nioh 3 Demo Late January 2026

Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja announced at The Game Awards 2025 that Nioh 3 will launch on February 6, 2026 for PS5 and PC via Steam, with a demo releasing January 29, 2026 that supports solo or 3-player online co-op and allows save data transfer to the full game. Early purchasers will receive exclusive armor sets inspired by previous protagonists: William's "Youngblood Armor (Samurai)" from Nioh and Hiddy's "Lone Wolf's Armor (Ninja)" from Nioh 2, obtained by redeeming the "Hellfrost Armor Set" bonus in-game.

During The Game Awards 2025, KOEI TECMO America and developer Team NINJA announced that the new demo for their upcoming dark samurai action RPG, Nioh 3, will be released Jan. 29, 2026 on PlayStation®5 and Windows PC via Steam®. In addition, as showcased in the action-packed trailer, new exclusive early purchase bonuses have also been revealed ahead of the game’s release on Feb. 6, 2026.

Before transcending through time to save Japan, players will be able to sharpen their blades in the new demo in solo or online multiplayer for up to three players*. After completing the demo, fans will be able to carry over their save data to the final game and continue their journey to become Shogun. More details about the new demo will be released at a later date.

Additionally, new exclusive bonuses for players who will receive the early purchase bonus** have been revealed. These players will receive bonus armor sets inspired by the protagonists from the previous titles, the “Youngblood Armor (Samurai)” worn by William in Nioh and the “Lone Wolf’s Armor (Ninja)” worn by Hiddy in Nioh 2. These items will be obtained by redeeming the early purchase bonus “Hellfrost Armor Set” in game.

Lastly, a special discount is available on the Steam® version of Nioh: Complete Edition, allowing players to experience the first title in this highly acclaimed franchise at 90% off.
