Raleigh, NC [JULY 15, 2025] – Today marks High On Life’s official RETURN to Xbox Game Pass! Users with Game Pass Ultimate, PC, and Standard will embark on the hilarious, action-packed adventure that fearlessly disrupted the comedy genre as we know it. In the breakout title from Squanch Games, humanity is being threatened by an alien cartel who wants to use them as drugs. It’s up to you to rescue and partner with charismatic talking guns, take down Garmantuous and his gang, and save the world.

During High On Life’s initial release week in December 2022, the dynamic first-person-shooter was quick to accrue several best-in-class accolades, many of which are directly rooted to the Xbox Game Pass platform. High On Life became the biggest Xbox Game Pass release of 2022, the largest 3rd-party launch on Game Pass of the era, and the biggest single-player launch ever on Game Pass. The title also earned a #1 spot on the Steam top-seller’s list and has since garnered an impressive player base spanning over 20 million.

The return to Game Pass serves as the ideal homework assignment ahead of the title’s sequel installment, High On Life 2 (fresh off its debut at June’s Xbox Games Showcase). Set for a release this winter, the forthcoming FPS puts its audience on a cosmic quest against an intergalactic conspiracy that threatens the fate of humanity. Previous players can expect the return of iconic Squanch personalities including Sweezy, Gus, Creature, and Knifey – the savage star of 2023’s High On Knife DLC.
