Happy Division Day! Today Ubisoft showcased the future of Tom Clancy’s The Division franchise. On the livestream, held on their Twitch channel, they gave us a look at The Division 2 Year 5 roadmap, including the upcoming Descent mode featured in Season 1, Broken Wings.
Explore solo or with friends the new rogue-lite game-mode called Descent – a special training simulation taking place in a high-tech underground bunker, where Agents will need to leave their gear and SHD tech and try to overload the AI in charge of the simulation. Equip yourself with weapons, skills and talents, explore rooms and defeat enemies and bosses including the ultimate opponent: the Nemesis, a copy of yourself.
We also got a closer look at what’s to come in The Division: Heartland, an upcoming free-to-play multiplayer survival action shooter, as well as a project update on The Division: Resurgence, which brings the Division experience to mobile devices.
