Devir is bring back Claustrophobia 1692 after acquiring the license from Monolith. This new version will be coming to Gamefound early 2026:

Devir Games announced today that they will be re-launching the iconic 2-player dungeon crawler Claustrophobia 1692. Devir licensed the game from Monolith and will work closely with the original creators CROC to deliver an updated version of the game containing all new miniatures, stunning artwork, new campaign scenarios and a revised ruleset.

In Claustrophobia, the battle is fierce. One player leads a small, desperate brotherhood of condemned warriors led by their Redeemer, bound to a desperate mission. The other commands the endless infernal legions, clawing their way out of the depths of Hell. Across modular dungeon tiles, scenario-based objectives, and brutal clashes of steel and claw, the fate of mankind hangs by a thread. Every game is a story of survival or damnation.
“This is no ordinary reprint: this is the rebirth of a masterpiece that first stormed the gaming world in 2009, was briefly unleashed again in 2019, and has never stopped haunting the tables of those lucky enough to own it,” said David Esbrí, Publisher at Devir.

The project will be funded through Gamefound and will start with a pre-campaign on October 15 and a launch in Q1 of 2026. This is the first time Devir will crowdfund a board game.

Further details about product specs will be forthcoming as the pre-campaign progresses, but it can be followed here.
