Developer diary released for No More Room in Hell 2, an 8 player co-op horror experience

Torn Banner Studios has just released a developer diary video, which can be viewed above, for their upcoming 8 player co-op horror experience, No More Room in Hell 2. The game, which is set to release in early access this Halloween, has players team up with up to 7 other players to survive a dynamic, endlessly replayable zombie apocalypse. No More Room in Hell 2 features maps and enemies inspired by classic zombies movies while remaining grounded in a terrifying survival story, and features tactical and high-stakes combat which rewards teamwork. Today, Chivalry 2 developer Torn Banner Studios has released a full developer diary for the highly anticipated eight- player co-op horror shooter No More Room in Hell 2. Now a commercial release, in the sequel to the 2011 award-winning Source mod, players start isolated in the dark, find their friends and survive – in a dynamic, endlessly replayable zombie apocalypse. With enemies and map locations inspired by classic zombie movies in a grounded yet terrifying survival story, the game will instill terror into players while offering fresh, tactical gameplay, high-stakes permadeath and intricate combat design that rewards cunning, teamwork and grit. Powered by Unreal Engine 5, No More Room in Hell 2 is a co-op game with consequences coming to early access on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store this Halloween.

The Torn Banner Studios team will also be running an exclusive first look gameplay stream on Tuesday, June 11 on their official Twitch channel. The stream will offer a deeper dive into the game and the team creating this experience.

No More Room in Hell 2 is a terrifying 8 player co-op action horror experience. Start alone, find your friends in the dark and survive – in a dynamic, endlessly replayable zombie apocalypse. Each match, you’ll go from shaking solo in the darkness with only a beer bottle, to forming a fully stocked co-op squad with assault rifles and explosives. An ever-present threat remains: if a responder dies, all of their progress is lost. This is co-op with consequences.
