Today, IO Interactive annonced that Christie Golden has joined the studio as Principal Writer.
In her new role, Golden will work closely with creative leadership and development teams, contributing to narrative vision, storytelling, worldbuilding, and character development.
A bestselling author with extensive experience in character writing and worldbuilding, Christie Golden brings decades of storytelling experience across games, novels, and transmedia. She is widely known for her work on major franchises, including World of Warcraft, Star Wars, Assassin’s Creed, and Overwatch. Her appointment underscores IO Interactive’s continued investment in high-caliber creative talent for its portfolio of games.
