On November 14, Black Ops 7 launches with a wide variety of 30 armaments to utilize across the game. Get ready for Weapon Leveling with a complete list of all weapons, including how they unlock:

Weapons Overview
Primary Weapons (23): This is your main armament, and each comes with individual attachments that — aside from a variety of Optics — are unlocked as you level the weapon up towards Prestige. Access the Gunsmith to adjust each Primary Weapon with Attachments suited to your style of play, access Weapon Prestige, and add Cosmetics you unlock. Utilize the “Overkill” Wildcard if you plan to use another Primary Weapon in your Loadout, taking the place of your Secondary Weapon. Expect the following Primary Weapons:

  • Light Machine Guns (LMGs) (2)

Secondary Weapons (5): Swap to this back-up weapon in specific situations, usually after your Primary Weapon runs out of ammunition or needs reloading. You are wise to pick a Secondary Weapon that complements your main gun. Utilize the “Overkill” Wildcard if you plan to use another Primary Weapon in your Loadout, taking the place of your Secondary Weapon. The Gunsmith is available for Secondary Weapons (Cosmetics and Weapon Prestige for Launchers; Cosmetics, Weapon Prestige, and Attachments for Pistols). There are two types of Secondary Weapons:

Melee Weapons (2): Used exclusively in close-quarter battles at melee range, bring out your weapon using the same key or controller press as Melee (the Right thumbstick on most controllers). Or tap this button to execute a gun butt melee without using the Melee Weapon. The Gunsmith is available for Melee Weapons (Cosmetics and Weapon Prestige). Use the following:

Primary Weapons (23)


For each Primary Weapon in Black Ops 7, the following information is imparted, so you have a brief overview before diving in and levelling up the armament:
  • LEVELS: The number of Weapon XP levels it takes to reach maximum level, and Prestige the weapon, unlocking the Prestige Attachment and first Weapon Prestige Camo.
  • MAGS: The number of magazines, clips, or rounds a weapon has.
  • MAG SIZE: The number of individual bullets, shells, or other ordnance the weapon has within its magazine.
  • Available Criteria: How the weapon is accessible in the Loadout menu, either immediately, or after you reach a specific Level Unlock for your Player.
  • Intel: The in-game description of the weapon.
  • Attachment Types: The general Gunsmith attachments the weapon has access to, usually unlocked as you level up the weapon in question.
  • Prestige Attachment: The in-game description of the unique Prestige Attachment you unlock after reaching maximum Weapon Level and deciding to Prestige the weapon.

Gunsmith and Firing Range

Weapon Build Codes
Whether you’re sharing a new weapon build, you’re consistently slaying with or want to try out a favorite build from a friend, you can easily showcase or import a Build Code. Here’s how:

Showcasing a Build Code: Simply share a screenshot of your Gunsmith screen; the unique Build Code with your chosen attachments present will be in the bottom-left corner of the screen. This is also visible if you inspect your weapon in a match.

Importing a Build Code: Simply access the import window from the Loadouts Menu, and type in the code you received (from a friend, or an online recommendation). The Build Code is displayed along with the attachments and saved to your Weapon Builds in Loadouts once you confirm. Note that any attachments or camos you’ve yet to unlock will still need to be unlocked.

Gunsmith Details
As with previous Call of Duty games, the Gunsmith features a baseline value, and in Black Ops 7 this is related to four main statistics:

Firepower: The fire rate, damage, range, and firing ping on the Mini-Map.

Accuracy: The minimum and maximum Hip Fire Spread, Recoil Gun Kick, Horizontal and Vertical Recoil, bullet velocity, and Flinch Resistance.

Mobility: The Movement Speed (Crouch, normal, Sprint, and ADS).

Handling: Reload quickness (both with rounds and empty), ADS Speed, Sprint to Fire Time, and Weapon Swap Speed.

As you unlock Attachments, you can optionally affix them to the main weapon, and each attachment influences one or more of these statistics, listed as Pros and Cons.

Attachments: A Brief Overview
Every Primary Weapon, plus Pistols, can be kitted out with Attachments, which add a benefit (and sometimes a drawback) to your gun’s four main statistics, as well as specific Pros and Cons particular to the Attachment in question. Here are the available Attachments. The previous list of weapons confirms which weapons use a particular attachment type.

Optics: Sights or scopes attached to the top of a weapon, designed to improve accuracy. These are universal, meaning once they are unlocked, they can be used with any weapon of the same type (Assault Rifles, for example).

Muzzles: Affixed to the front of the barrel, these redirect gasses, controlling recoil.

Barrels: The front of the weapon where the projectile travels.

Underbarrels: These are foregrips to hold, or launchers with an alt-fire capacity.

Stock Pads: A buttstock fits to the shoulder of some weapons.

Magazines: These hold the weapon’s ammunition.

Combs: Usually found on Sniper Rifles, these are fixed to the top of the Stock.

Rear Grips: The weapon’s main, and usually rubberized, handle.

Stocks: These are braces designed to be pushed into the firer’s shoulder.

Lasers: Side- or under-mounted, allowing for improved accuracy at the expense of a visual beam the enemy can see.

Fire Mods: A variety of attachments and uses.

For those requiring even more information, the Details menu of the Gunsmith makes a welcome return, allowing you to view how each attachment affects the weapon to a granular degree.

Enter a new-look Firing Range where every ranged weapon can be tested, adjusted, and explored. Bring your favorite new build and bench test it with a variety of features, including:
  • Stats tracking in the top-left corner of your screen confirming targets killed, your accuracy, damage, moving target range, and TTK.
  • Practice dummies at 10-, 25-, 50-, and 100-meter intervals, with the ability to add one, two, or three plates to them.
  • Cycle through your Loadouts without leaving the Firing Range (Multiplayer only).
  • Toggle between a moving target (allowing you to hit the same target at three different ranges) or recoil plate (excellent for viewing bullet spread and recoil patterns).

Slow’s victim’s movement and aiming.

Disables or destroys electronics. Effective against Equipment, Scorestreaks, and enemy players.

Flashbang (Tactical)

Blinds and deafens targets.

Pinpoint Grenade (Tactical)

Grenade that detects enemies within its range. Close enemies are shot with tracking devices which can be removed by victims.

Overclock #1 — AI chip increases grenade lifetime and detection radius.
Overclock #2 — Allies see your tagged enemies through walls. Tagged enemies appear on allied minimaps. 

Stim Shot (Tactical)

Military stimulant that quickly heals combat wounds.

Available Criteria: Unlocked at Player Level 21.
Overclock #1 — Adds ability to remove player debuffs.
Overclock #2 — Adds a move speed boost.

Psych Grenade (Tactical)

Explodes on impact, releasing a lingering cloud of hallucinogenic gas.

Available Criteria: Unlocked at Player Level 29.
Overclock #1 — Increases the duration that enemies are affected by the grenade.
Overclock #2 — The grenade’s released gas deals damage over time.

Hunter Bot (Tactical)

Personal defense drone hovers in air and targets enemy Equipment, Field Upgrades, and Scorestreaks. Can counter grenades.

Available Criteria: Unlocked at Player Level 42.
Overclock #1 — Increased hits-to-kill damage to Scorestreaks.
Overclock #2 — Cook to lock-on.

Smoke (Tactical)

Deploys a smoke screen that blocks vision and automated targeting systems.

Available Criteria: Unlocked at Player Level 35.
Overclock #1 — Earn increased score from assists.
Overclock #2 — Detonates smoke on impact.

Decoy (Tactical)

Grenade that simulates gunfire sounds to confuse enemies. Sticks to surfaces.

Point Turret (Lethal)

Small deployable sentry turret that automatically shoots at enemies, distracting and damaging them.

Needle Drone (Lethal)

Small flying drone that explodes on impact. Toggles between auto or manual control.

Overclock #2 — Adds ability to boost the dart while flying in manual mode.

C4 (Lethal)

Large explosive that sticks to surfaces and can be detonated remotely when the equipment is depleted or immediately detonated.

Molotov (Lethal)

Thrown incendiary weapon that creates a patch of flames.

Become partially invisible for a short period of time.

Echo Unit (Field Upgrade)

Holographic soldier decoy tricks enemies and captures and holds objectives.

Squad Link (Field Upgrade)

Deployed device that boosts score and improves effectiveness of allied Operators and gadgets in range.

Overclock #1 — Expands coverage of the link (expanded area of effect).
Overclock #2 — Increases nearby allies’ Field Upgrade recharge speed and doubles the earned score.

Scrambler (Field Upgrade)

Disrupts nearby enemy Equipment, Field Upgrades, Scorestreaks, and minimaps.

Available Criteria: Unlocked at Player Level 45.
Overclock #1 — Expands the coverage (area of effect) of the Scrambler.
Overclock #2 — The positions of enemies without the Ghost or Vigilance Perk in the radius (area of effect) of the Scrambler are periodically revealed.

Fear Trap (Field Upgrade)

Deployed trap which emits a neurotoxic gas cloud, causing severe hallucinations and disorienting victims.

Available Criteria: Unlocked at Player Level 32.
Overclock #1 — Increases the duration that enemies are affected by the Fear Trap.
Overclock #2 — The Fear Trap’s released gas deals damage over time.

Black Hat (Field Upgrade)

Field Upgrade that hacks enemies, Equipment, and Scorestreaks. Aim continuously at a target to hack it.

Available Criteria: Unlocked at Player Level 38.
Overclock #1 — Reduce the duration it takes to hack enemy gadgets.
Overclock #2 — Enables the Black Hat to target enemy electronics through walls.

Mute Field (Field Upgrade)

Stealth device which gives you the Ninja, Ghost, and Cold Blooded Perks for a duration. The duration extends on kills.

Available Criteria: Unlocked at Player Level 14.
Overclock #1 — While active, prevents you from showing on enemy minimaps when firing an unsuppressed weapon.
Overclock #2 — Increases the active duration of the Mute Field. 

Scorestreaks (21)
The heavy hitters of Multiplayer combat, Scorestreaks are awarded to players who chain actions together in a single life, including eliminations, assists, objective plays, and more, reaching the required Score. Equip up to three Scorestreaks (four with the High Roller Wildcard), providing a variety of advantages from intel gathering to lethal payloads that can turn the tide of the match. Intel: Reduces incoming explosive and fire damage.

Tech Mask (Strategist)

Intel: Resistance to enemy flash, concussion, and gas. You cannot be EMPed or Hacked.

Fast Hands (Strategist)

Available Specialties: Tactician (Hybrid), Operative (Hybrid), Strategist (Core).
Intel: Reload and swap weapons faster. Extend fuses when throwing back grenades.

Charge Link (Strategist)

Intel: Faster Field Upgrade charge rate. Grant this benefit to all allies. Earn score when nearby allies use their field upgrades.

Intel: Faster healing while capturing and holding objectives. Revive downed teammates faster.

Wildcards (9)
Overkill (Wildcard)

Available Criteria:
 Unlocked at Player Level 20.
Intel: Equip any non-melee weapon in Primary and Secondary slots.

Prepper (Wildcard)

Available Criteria:
 Unlocked at Player Level 38.
Intel: Equip two different Field Upgrades.

High Roller (Wildcard)

Available Criteria:
 Unlocked at Player Level 48.
Intel: Equip a fourth Scorestreak.

Flyswatter (Wildcard)

Available Criteria:
 Unlocked at Player Level 41.
Intel: Replace the melee in your Dedicated Melee Slot with a Launcher.

Tac Expert (Wildcard)

Available Criteria:
 Unlocked at Player Level 15.
Intel: Spawn with an extra Tactical.

Gunfighter (Wildcard)

Available Criteria:
 Unlocked at Player Level 29.
Intel: Get three attachment points for your Primary weapon.

Perk Greed (Wildcard)

Available Criteria:
 Unlocked at Player Level 33.
Intel: Equip an extra Perk.

Danger Close (Wildcard)

Available Criteria:
 Unlocked at Player Level 24.
Intel: Spawn with an extra Lethal.

Specialist (Wildcard)

Available Criteria:
 Unlocked at Player Level 53.
Intel: Replace your Scorestreaks with three Perks. You earn them at 200, 400, and 600 Score. Earn all remaining eligible Perks at 1200 Score. Perks equipped by using Wildcards do not count towards Combat Specialty.
