ROCKVILLE, Md. (Jan. 3, 2019) — Bethesda Softworks and Behaviour Interactive jointly announced today that the parties have amicably resolved the lawsuit Bethesda brought against Behaviour and others related to the Fallout® Shelter and Westworld mobile games.

Filed in June of 2018, Bethesda Softworks claimed that the Westworld app by Behavior Interactive  for WB Games stole assets from their popular mobile game, Fallout Shelter. This included codes, design, and gameplay as well as code. The law team at Bethesda claimed that code that was used in Fallout Shelter and owned by them was being used in the Westworld mobile game, which has eerily similar gameplay. This was evident by the fact that some of the bugs an early version of Fallout Shelter reappears in the Westworld game.
