Battalion 1944 has been released out of Steam Early Access and along with it comes a large update that includes new features, balance changes, and more. One of the additions is competitive matchmaking powered by FACEIT, a platform that enhances the competitive ecosystem with leaderboards, rankings, and matchmaking.

- 8 new weapons (PPSH41, PPS43, Mosin Nagant Rifle, Mosin Nagant Scoped, TT-33, Baikal 22, SVT-40, Fedorov Avtomat)
- FACEIT integration
- 3 new maps (Italy, Russia, and France)
- Free for All game mode
- Improve game modes (Wartide, CTF, DOM, TDF)
- Match replay system and match history
- New BattleRank season
- Challenges, medals, and leaderboards
- Community modding.
