Today, AVerMedia Technologies announced the unveiling of Dream Streamer 2018, a casting call program designated for putting advanced 4K-capable streaming hardware in the hands of up-and-coming streamers and content creators. They will be partnered with CyberPowerPC, Cooler Master, and other hardware companies to supply hardware through the Dream Streamer competition at Twitch Con 2018 in San Jose, CA.
Game streaming is one of the fastest growing entertainment sectors, with over 100M monthly users on Twitch alone and thousands of new content creators vying for attention each day. In conjunction, PC and next generation console gaming are increasingly moving to stunning 4K visuals that require powerful PC rigs and cards like AVerMedia’s Live Gamer 4K UHD lineup to capture in their full glory. To help the best new creators get the dream rig they need to take the next step in streaming, AVerMedia and fellow hardware companies are teaming up to roll out Dream Streamer 2018. The competition will give deserving content creators with fewer than 10,000 followers a platform to showcase their skills and win a Dream Streamer 4K game capture rig grand prize, exclusive streaming opportunities, and additional prizes.
Content Creators can sign up to enter Dream Streamer 2018 on the official website. There will be two rounds to the competition. The first, an online-qualifying round, will have streamers upload a video showcasing their streamer skills and aspirations through the competition page with the official #dreamstreamer hashtag. The final round will take place at Twitch Con 2018 in the AVerMedia booth #1048 where qualifiers will use the Dream Streamer 4K rig to record and stream 30 minutes of gameplay and commentary.
More details about Dream Streamer 2018 will be revealed at Twitch Con 2018. For more information or to qualify, visit the official website.
