New World: Aeternum's Season 10 "Nighthaven" has launched as a massive free content update featuring the new Nighthaven zone, The Tear of Gaea story, Catacombs game mode, Isle of Night raid, and overhauled endgame progression. As part of the Season 10 celebration, the Rise of the Angry Earth expansion is now also included free for PC players who don't already own it.

Between a mysterious new zone, evolving endgame systems, and a 10-player raid, this season reshapes how you journey and endure. The Nighthaven update will release on Monday, October 13 and will be free for all New World: Aeternum owners. New World: Aeternum - Season 10: Nighthaven downtime will begin at 5:00 a.m. PT (12:00 p.m. UTC) on October 13 and last approximately 2 hours.

- New Zone: Nighthaven - A mysterious ancient land with haunting woods, mighty castles, enigmatic inhabitants, and monstrous creatures; requires more exploration than previous zones with complex vertical structures and catacombs
- New Story: The Tear of Gaea - Search for the missing Tear of Gaea throughout Nighthaven while navigating enigmatic figures and uncovering the truth of this isolated land
- New Game Mode: Catacombs - Up to 3-player procedurally generated dungeon runs with escalating difficulty, unique power-ups, and a race to extract treasures before time runs out; rewards include two new currencies (Sterlings and Crowns)
- New Raid: Isle of Night - 10-player endgame raid featuring three new bosses, multiple enemy types, puzzles, and set piece encounters; similar in format to Hive of Gorgons
- Overhauled Endgame Progression - Level cap raised to 70, gear score max increased to 800, new "Perk Charms" modding system with up to 4 sockets per gear piece, introduction of set bonuses, revamped Umbral system, and complete perk redesign
- New OPR Map: The Tower of Calomel - 20v20 gothic fortress map with three vertical layers, jump pads, underground passages, and three capture points
- Customizable HUD - Full control to reposition, scale, and rotate HUD elements for both PC and console players
- PvP Healer Role Balancing - Improved matchmaking for Arenas, CTF, and OPR to ensure fairer team compositions with healers
