You might know them as the developers behind Baldur’s Gate 3, and for good reason, because that game was phenomenal. But they got their hooks in me with the Divinity games. When I saw this announcement, I could barely believe my eyes. This was by far my favorite trailer at The Game Awards.
GHENT (12th December, 2025): Larian Studios is proud to announce Divinity, a brand new game set in the world of Rivellon. Revealed with a trailer shown live during The Game Awards 2025, Divinity is Larian’s most ambitious title yet.

Built by the team who brought you Baldur's Gate 3, Larian Studios unchains its ambitions to bring you an RPG with greater breadth and depth than ever before.
While Divinity is a brand new game that doesn’t require experience with previous Larian titles, those who’ve played Divinity: Original Sin and Divinity: Original Sin 2 will be able to enjoy greater understanding and continuity.
