We Interview: Grant Kirkhope

Funny story, Grant Kirkhope was actually my first ever interview. Back in school-year 2014/15, I was asked to interview someone in the field I wanted to pursue. At the time, that was music and performance. I had always been obsessed with Banjo-Kazooie and the soundtracks that Grant had worked on, so I reached out.

He not only responded, but responded quickly, and confirmed dates and times for an interview. I ended up with an "A" on the project as I was also one of the only people not to interview a family member or friend, but an actual person in the field I didn't already know.

Now, in 2025, I had the chance to talk to Grant again about all his works plus some upcoming projects including Yooka-Replayee!
