We're back to recap a great week of comics we read here at GamingTrend.com! This week we have a trio of comic impressions from Dark Horse Comics and a review of The Writer, a comic written by Josh Gad and friends! You will want to check out each of these amazing books!

Vatican City – Issue #2

We are ramping up to the final issue with our survivors digging further into the mysteries of the Vatican while Vampires are at the front door, side door, and everywhere else in the world.

Will the survivors make it out? What kind of life is left for anyone who does make it out of this mess? I guess we'll have to wait and find out!

Hyperspace Stories: The Bad Batch: Ghost Agents – Issue #2

The Bad Batch are back again and this time, they have another great adventure in front of them. While the mysterious stranger is pretty easy to figure out for any Star Wars fan who's watched The Bad Batch, it's still fun to see how the story unfolds from there.

One of the best parts of this series is how they use the helmets of the Bad Batch member when they're talking in a text bubble. Makes it super easy to know who's talking to who and put the voice to the clone!

Cyberpunk 2077: Psycho Squad – Issue #4

The finale is here and it starts with a bang and just like Night City, it's never calm! This brings our story to the end, for now, with an ending that keeps things open if they want to continue the fun later!

While the ending was a bit of a shock to me personally, it does feel like the ending of a plot line from Cybperbunk 2077. Dan Watters did a great job of melding the comic book storytelling with the high-paced action of the world of Cyberpunk!

The Writer TPB Review

A fast-paced, exciting fantasy adventure, The Writer is a great story for fans of fantasy books and comics alike. Though it struggles with pacing issues, the story is, overall, immensely enjoyable, and the deeper message about bigotry only makes it all the more powerful.

With a twist ending that is bound to surprise even the most seasoned readers, it’s sure to be a fun ride for any who picks it up.
