We're back to recap a great week of Comics & Manga we read here at GamingTrend.com last week! We have three comics to showcase this week: one from Dark Horse Comics, one from Marvel Comics, and one from Titan Manga.
We also have Tim Jenkins' impressions of the most recent _______________! At the end, keep an eye out for a preview of what we're looking at this week!

Touched by a Devil – Issue #1
Here we have a story of a devil wanting his old life in heaven back. However can a devil who's tired of torment win the ability to climb the ladder to his past home? By opening a Life Coaching business, I guess!
From writer and artist Kristen Gudsnuk is the first of four issues giving us a fun and fascinating look at the world through the eyes of a devil on the bottom of the power dynamics in hell. The first issue had be cracking up multiple times from all of the quirky characters and wacky situations they get themselves in from panel to panel!

Rogue (2026) – Issue #1
Out of all of the X-Men, it seems like Rogue is always one that handles some of the bigger topics in the X-Men universe. This time, she follows the footsteps of Logan and more as she realizes aspects of her past might be coming to haunt her.
While this comic does need a tad more backstory than others to fully understand the weight of the emotions coming out, it's not hard to put the pieces together as you go. Rogue is an interesting story of when the past comes back to haunt you while you're the most comfortable you've been in a while. Thankfully she's handling it, so far, like a champ!

Gran Familia – Vol. 2
Volume 2 starts out with a great fight scene between two of our more powerful Demi's to date. Throughout the volume though, we see that power level shift to quite a high level. The story also throws things into high gear as we now see rivals make themselves known to Leo and his ragtag group of found family.
Gran Familia does a wonderful job of balancing high octane action with great family drama and finding who your real family truly is as you get older. The characters are extremely loveable and the art does a great job providing our heroes with a level of depth you can appreciate if you're a long-time manga fan or just getting started.

Logan: Black, White, & Blood – Issue #1 review
Though nothing groundbreaking from a storytelling perspective, Logan: Black, White, & Blood #1 succeeds in being an exciting read that perfectly encapsulates the grittiness of the character. With three stories set in very different environments and contexts, it does an excellent job of showcasing the savage fury lying within an unkillable warrior doomed to never know peace.
The limited color palette serves each of the stories incredibly well, with the artists utilizing it perfectly to bring these untold tales of Logan to life.
